Account Management
In order to complete orders with Amber Bath Online you must
create an account on the website. This
provides Amber Bath with the information needed to securely perform shopping
transactions and provide order status with you.
Registering For the First Time
To create your account for the first time, you can click on the My
Account link at the top of the website.
Once you are on the My Account screen click locate the
section for New Customers and click the Create Account
button. This will guide you through the
process of collecting important information from you and register you in the
system.
Important: The registration process requires a valid email
in order to complete the process. This
is required to provide timely communication with you regarding your orders.
Managing Your Account
Once you have registered with Amber Bath Online, you have
access to all kinds of information regarding your account. You manage all this information about your
account by clicking on the My Account link at the top of the
website. This provides you with the
following information about: - Billing and shipping address information
- Tracking all recent orders
- Your address book containing other shipping
information for those you regularly ship to.
- View and manage inquiries that you have submitted
to Amber Bath
- View and redeem your reward points
- View and manage your wish list of products
- View and manage gift certificates you have
purchased from Amber Bath
Browsing and Searching for Products
The website offers convenient options for browsing and
finding the products for which you are interested. Each option provides you with unique
opportunities for not only finding the products you are specifically looking
for, but also learning about new products you may not have used before.
Product Search
This is the fastest way to find a product you know you are
looking for. In the upper right hand
corner of the website there is an option to search by keyword. Type in the keyword you are searching for,
such as lemon soap, and click on the search button. This will return all products that contain
those keywords and allow you to view each products page.
Category Browsing
The second fastest way to find a product is to browse by the
product categories. On the left side of
the website, there are several product categories that provide a quick way to
get to the type of product in which you are interested. Click on the category you are interested in,
and it will allow you to shop all the products in that category.
Featured Products
When you are on the Home page of the website, by either
going to www.amberbath.com or clicking on the Home link at the top of the
website, you will see in the middle of the page there is a section for Featured
Products. This is where we provide a
list of the products that we want most to bring to your attention. It is either because they are a seasonal
special or a favorite in our community.
Watch this list for things that might be new for you!
Top Sellers
When you are on the Home page of the website, by either
going to www.amberbath.com or clicking on the Home link at the top of the
website on the right hand side of the site, you will see a section for Top
Sellers. This provides our three most
top selling products in the last month.
Product Carousel
When you are on the Home page of the website, by either
going to www.amberbath.com or clicking on the Home link at the top of the
website on the right hand side of the site, you will see a section under Top
Sellers called the Product Carousel.
This randomly displays three products from our site. This is a great way for the website to bring products
you may not have used before to your attention.
Shopping Cart Management
In order to add things to your cart, you must be logged into
the account you created on our site when you first registered. You can sign in at anytime by clicking on the
My
Account link at the top of the page or clicking the Login
to your account link when viewing a product.
Viewing Your Cart
At anytime you can view what is in your cart by clicking on
the Shopping
Cart link in the very upper right hand corner of the website. This will allow you to modify the contents of
your cart by changing quantities or removing items from your cart.
Adding Items to Your Cart
You can easily add items to your cart by simply finding the
product you want, set the quantity you wish to purchase, and click the Add
to Cart button. This will add
the item to your shopping cart.
Removing Items from Your Cart
You can remove items from your cart by clicking on the Shopping
Cart link in the very upper right hand corner of the website. This will allow you to remove items from your
cart and update the total in the cart. Checking OutWhen you are ready to checkout, you can click on the Shopping Cart link located in the upper right hand corner of the website. This will display all of the products you are about to purchase. If everything looks good, you can click the Proceed to Checkout button.
Once you are on the checkout page, you can view your billing information and the shipping information. Once you update the shipping information, the shipping costs and tax rates will adjust so you will know the total amount to ship your order to that location.
Once you have reviewed the information on the check out page, choose your payment method and click the Check out button on the bottom of the page. Sales TaxThe State of Colorado requires all website sales to collect sales tax on orders that are shipped to a Colorado address. If you ship to a Colorado address, the shopping cart will include tax otherwise tax will be excluded from the order.
Writing a Product ReviewIf you love your products, we would really appreciate you writing a review for us so that other customers can see what you think. Please perform the following steps to write a review about a product.
1.) Log into your account by clicking on the My Account link at the top of the page.
2.) Locate the product that you wish to review and click on the Write a Review link located under the picture of the product.
3.) This will take you to a screen where you can rate and write a review on the product and submit it.
4.) The product review will be approved by Amber Bath and posted on the site within one business day.

Shopping RewardsYou will earn rewards for every dollar spent. Every dollar is worth 10 points. When you purchase items from the site, it tracks the number of points earned for each item purchased. The amount of points required to purchase a product is 10% of it's dollar amount in points. Example: A $4.00 soap earns you 10 points for each dollar spent for a total of 40 points. The amount of points required to purchase a soap is 10 multiplied by the price of the product, which would be 400 points.
Earn enough points and you can redeem free products. To view how many points you have or to redeem your points, click on the My Account link at the top of the site, log into your account, and look under the My Rewards section. If you wish to redeem products for your points, click on the Redeem link and follow the instructions. Order Management and Tracking
Once you have ordered from Amber Bath Online, all of your
orders are tracked on the website. This
allows you to go back and see order status and the contents of that order. Orders on our website go through the
following stages and will send you email notifications as the order goes
through each stage: - New – Your order is pending review from an Amber
Bath associate.
- Shipped – Your order has been processed and
shipped.
- On Hold – Your order is on hold for a specific
reason (i.e. product back-ordered, etc.)
- Cancelled – Your order has been cancelled. This only happens if you call to cancel your
order.
Submitting Inquiries to Amber Bath
If you have any questions regarding orders, gift
certificates, products or general questions, you can submit an inquiry right
from the website. You can do this by
clicking on the Contact Us link at the very bottom of the website. This will provide you a form where you can type
a message and send it to us. We will
respond as quickly as we can to all inquiries.
You can also track your most recent inquiries with Amber
Bath by clicking on the My Account link at the top of the
website and locating the My Last Requests section.
Wish Lists
If you see a product on the site that interests you, but you
are not quite ready to purchase, you can add it to your wish list and purchase
it later. This prevents you from
forgetting which product it was or where it was located on the site.
Adding to Your Wish List
In order to add a product to your wish list, you click on
the Add
to Wish List link when viewing the product. This will place it in your wish list which
can be viewed by clicking on the My Account link at the top of the
website and locating the My Wish List section.
Removing from Your Wish List
You can remove items from your wish list by clicking on the My
Account link at the top of the website and locating the My
Wish List section and click the View Details link.
Gift Certificates
One of the nice benefits of shopping with Amber Bath Online
is you can purchase gift certificates for your friends and family. The website will generate and email the gift
certificate coupon code to a person of your choice, and they can make purchases
against that gift certificate.
To purchase a gift certificate, add one of the many items in
the Gift
Certificates section, and complete the order.
You can see the balance of any of your gift certificates by
clicking on the My Account link at the top of the website and locating the Gift
Certificates section.
Gift Registry
If you have a special event, and wish to allow your friends
and family to purchase gifts, you can create a gift registry on the website and
have them purchase from it. The website
will track each item in your registry against what has been purchased. It is a very nice way to get what you want
for a special occasion.
To create a gift registry, click on the Gift Registry link
at the top of the website and follow the directions to create it. You can then email the link to Amber Bath
Online (www.amberbath.com) to your friends and family, and they can search your
registry for products to purchase against it. |
